High Speed Business Internet - ADSL & VDSL / FTTN

Utilizing a nationwide network, Telehop offers turnkey high speed Internet service that meets your critical business connectivity requirements, whether those involve sending files and media, accessing applications, or backing up data.

ADSL

Available speeds: 1.5Mbps x 384Mbps to 10Mbps x 1Mbps

Available across Canada, you can choose from either dynamic or static IP configuration based on your company's requirements.

VDSL / FTTN

Available speeds: Up to 50Mbps x 10Mbps

VDSL (FTTN fibre-to-the-node) uses fibre optic technology to the central office (node) and uses the current copper technology from the C.O. to the site (i.e. existing telephone wiring). This allows for faster speeds while keeping costs to a minimum.

*Available speeds are dependent on the geographical location.

Benefits of VDSL Internet

VDSL Internet is fast

VDSL / FTTN is fast.

Legacy copper lines impose significant speed restrictions. VDSL, in contrast, utilizes both fibre optic lines and legacy copper lines to transmit voice and data. Data travels first over fibre to the specific business area, and then at a local demarcation point, travels via copper to the final business destination. VDSL works well for business SIP Trunking and Contact Center Solutions.

VDSL Internet is flexible

VDSL / FTTN is flexible.

VDSL supports a wide range of mission-critical applications including VoIP, web or cloud-based applications, and HD video conferencing that require significant bandwidth. With VDSL, frequency bands can be customized targeting specific bands for download or upload. This inherent flexibility with VDSL service allows our customers to allocate bandwidth resources according to specific business requirements.

How VDSL / FTTN Internet Works

FTTN or fibre-to-the-node uses fibre optic technology to the Central Office (C.O.) and uses the current copper technology from the C.O. to the site (i.e. existing telephone wiring). This allows for faster speeds while keeping costs to a minimum. Speeds up to 50 Mbps x 10Mbps can now be obtained using your current infrastructure.

The Internet is delivered across fibre from Telehop to the closest local node, which is then transferred to the existing copper in your location. This distance from the node to your location will determine the maximum speed of your connection.

VDSL / FTTN installation includes onsite visit from a Telco technician.
